The Lake County Historical Society provides speakers to community organizations who will speak on local historical topics.  Groups such as libraries, senior centers, veteran groups, nursing homes, church groups and more can benefit from a variety of topics and speakers.  This program is our way of taking the history that we preserve and protect and bringing it to the local community.

 

Mandy Spencer is our main speaker and she has been involved in this project for many years.  She has also been a volunteer at the History Center for 25 years.  She is extremely knowledgeable on a variety of historical topics including prohibition, the Suffragist Movement, prominent female figures in Lake County History
